Anchovies and products in brine | Conservas Gonsal

The company Conservas Gonsal was created in the year 2002 by Miguel-Ángel González –Barredo, born and raised in Santoña. In 2003 he started with the construction of his factory in Industrial area of Haro. At the end of 2003 the factory was ready to deliver its first orders.

This initiative was consequence of the anxiety of this business man to start his own project, and so he did supported by more than 30 years experience, in the anchovy sector of his hometown Santoña.

The spin of the company would be to elaborated the products in a classic way supported by the latest technology, giving our clients a high quality product with competitive prices, having in mind the latest tendencies in the market

The composition of the name of our company GONSAL comes from González Salasar, you can sea clearly the intention to create a family company think about continuity, since these surnames are of his descendants.

At the moment Conservas Gonsal is composed of three mayor companies, the just now mentioned factory in Haro Spain, the factory Pesca España situated in Tacna, in the south of Peru and the last factory Conservas Maullín inaugurated recently in the south of Chile.

The objective of these factories situated in South America is to transform the fish close to the capture areas and to send them semi-elaborated to Spain. Where they are packed. With that we conceive our first objective, which is to serve best quality and to be competitive in the 20^th century world market, being all businesses immersed in this project, we will last in time.
